Isabel turned to the last redead and dodged its lunge. "Bastard." She spat plunging her knife into its spine causing it to stop moving entirely. "There we got them. It's not much longer." She said smiling "Did you put that necklace on?" she asked sliding the wooden door in front of them open "I think it'd look lovely on you dear."

No. She hadn't. What had she done with it? Ysabel looked around, frantically searching for it, when she realized she had the chain wrapped around her hand the whole time. Sighing, she took it and put it on. "Yes, thankfully it didn't get lost." Now that these stupid humpy mummies were slayed, perhaps this would get even more interesting. After getting the medallion situated, Ysabel looked down at it. It looked quite nice. "What do you think? Stunning?" She asked playfully.

Isabel smiled and adjusted the medallion so it sat on her bust. "It adds to your immense beauty." she said placing her hands on her friends shoulders. "Now we're about half way there so expect to see those bandits I warned you about." She said letting go and walking further into the dungeon. She paused and looked at the corpses and pulled out a small bag containing salt and threw small pinches of it onto the bodies "May the gods have mercy on your souls" She mumbled as a token of respect and sympathy.

Resisting the urge to fidget, Ysabel stood still and let Izzy adjust the medallion. For some reason, she didn't slap her hands away. Must be something inside was beginning to give her the message that she should start trusting this one more than she already did. Mental and emotion trust were easy; physical, not so much. But really, what harm would it do? "Thank you." She smiled and nodded to Izzy after her help, and she shook her head. "You know, I really don't see it."
Bandits. Yucky. Ysabel was hoping that would be pushed off for as long as possible. Isabel's respect for the dead was remarkable to Izzy; yes, she thought that was very nice and she too respected them, she had just never really dealt with death or what should happen after it occurred. She was too sheltered for her own good. "I wonder what happened to them."

Isabel sighed "Please I know you're pretty." she looked at the corpses behind her and shook her head "Well some say that the Dova kind cursed them for betraying man. Others say they were heathens and angered the gods. I've also heard that they are the remains of black mages." she paused and opened yet another door "I don't care what happened to them they don't deserve this fate." She said as she heard the sounds of footsteps and human laughter. "Shhh! do you hear that?"

"When I die, I don't want to be left there to rot, either." Hopefully by the time she died she was old and her children were well off and she was an old biddy who was ornery anyways. She didn't want to die young as some did; it was a sad fate.
Laughter? Bandits. Already? Crap. Nodding in response, Izzy tried to peek over Isabel's head to see if she could see anything else. Nope, nothing. The sound of laughter was unmistakable. She was surprised the people inside hadn't ran to investigate the door opening yet. They were probably intoxicated.

Isabel sighed as she weighed her options. She saw five of them, three hylean men and two females of which one was her kin. It was always rare to see Kokiri out of the woods and this one was obviously a full breed from her short stature "I don't want to cause them harm if I don't have to. Let's try and sneak around them ok?" she whispered as she silently walked into the room.

Of all things, sneaking was not Izzy's specialty. Well, not when she was actually trying to be sneaky. "Sneak around it is then." She followed Isabel's lead, trying not to make too much noise. Sure enough, she possessed enough stealth to move quietly. As she was moving, she looked at the Kokiri closely. They were definitely smaller, more child-like beings. She had never had close contact with many, let alone asked them how old they were. She was sure Izzy would know some things about the Kokiri characteristics, so she would have to ask later.

Isabel stopped in her tracks as her kin spotted her "Wait a minute guys... I hear some one." she said getting up "You!" she yelled pointing to Isabel "You're the half breed from the village! What are you doing out here!" she yelled as the rest of her drunk friends stood up. Isabel stood up. She knew this way would be easier and stood infront of her crouched friend protectively. "Look I mean no harm! Just let us through!" ((Care to play the bandit Chief ))

((A big mean drunk guy? Well, I'm not sure. (I'd be honored.) )) That little rat. Ysabel could just go over there and- "Wut'd yew say little miss? There's a 'alf breed in our midst?" With a guttural growl, the bandit drew his dagger and turned to the two women. Neither looked to be of mixed blood, but if little miss said one was, than one was. Say, they were both pretty lovely ladies as well. He might just have to keep one alive for a bit. "Sick 'em, boys." With the chief's command, the other two men got up from there stools and approached the Izzy's simultaneously. "By the gods, they're all halfwits." Ysabel muttered under her breath, not able to help the sudden blurb of conversation. Oh, how she'd like to preach at them right now. There wasn't time for that. Not hesitating a moment longer, Ysabel stepped forward to take the second of the men on.

"Yeah that one!" the Kokiri said pointing to Isabel "The green haired bitch! She's the one who ran off with that outsider!" she yelled "The one with the green hair!"
Isabel sighed "Guys please you don't want to!" she paused when she heard weapons being drawn "Alright I guess you do!" she said punching the closer man with a full force blow directly in the throat hoping to disable the man "I warned you!" she said apathetically.
"See boss?" the Kokiri said curling up to her leader "See what she can do? I bet she'd fetch a pretty penny if we sold her!"

"Wut? Yew reckon we should sell 'er?" The large man seemed to think for a moment. "Well, that means we'd 'ave to keep 'er alive, but wut would we do with the other one?" He was a bit slow, partially why he needed his little miss, trying to think things over. It didn't help that there was so much alcohol in his system that it could have tranquilized a small horse.
To say the least, the man Izzy had taken on wasn't that great of a swordsman. He was disarmed within thirty seconds, staring at Izzy with wide eyes. She didn't want to kill him, so she opted to whapping him on the head with the hilt of his sword. He teetered for a moment, then fell to the ground. Izzy looked to the big man. "You're not going to sell her, you little runt." Her gaze turned cold as she looked at the Kokiri woman. "You couldn't even muster enough to take her alive."

Isabel chuckled at her friends comment. She was right. This runt and the drunkard combined couldn't harm either of them! "Please sir unless you want to end up a memory I suggest you surrender and let us go!" she slowly walked forward with a fighting stance to defend herself if she needed to and she would not hesitate to do so.
The Kokiri smiled "Ya use her for fun kill her and sell her body!" She chimed in with an evil grin. "She looks like you could easily do what ya please to her boss!"

With Isabel's daring comment, the large man stood up. He was nearly a whole foot taller than Ysabel, pretty beefy, and intimidating, to say the least. He wasn't very pleasant to look at, that was sure. "Yew think yew'd be able to make me, the bandit chief, just a mem'ry? Yew're out of yer blinkin' brain, tiny britches!" Had he meant bitches? Eh, he wasn't sure. Pants worked too.
In times like these, Izzy wished she were and archer; then she could just pick them off without another thought. Though she wasn't too fond of killing, two were already taking a nice nap. "Well Izzy, take your pick. Yew want the big, smelly male? Or do yer want the wee little miss?" Ysabel mimicked the man's voice, hoping to irritate him to some extent.

Isabel smiled and twirled fire in her hand "I'll get the ugly fat bastard." She spat with a wicked grin. "This is your last chance! Surrender or I will burn you to ashes!" she warned forming her familiar fire whip
"Don't give up boss! I believe in ya!" The Kokiri girl yelled to cheer her hero on "Kill that bitch! Make her pay for being a half breed!"
"You can shut up!" Isabel yelled at the Kokiri.
