"Oh my gods I love my family with all my heart." Isabel said smiling to herself. "Oh so you're enrolled in the university? Zelda Malon, Lydia, and most of the kids do." She said with a smile. "I don't mean to brag or anything but I'm a master white mage. I've been studying for two centuries now actually. I also grow my own herbs for potions but I'm not that good." she crossed her arms and thought of how to help this beautiful woman. Had she herself been younger she would definitely court her. "Maybe I could teach you some magic."

The only bragging Izzy felt like tolerating was Isabel's. This was one of the first relatable people she had met since, well, her mum. "Perhaps I will meet them, then. I've yet to put myself out there, so I haven't really found many friends." That wasn't necessarily a shame; Izzy really cherished her alone time. "If you would like to teach me, that would be fine, but I must warn you; I tend to be timid when it comes to magic and casting." Hearing that Isabel was over two hundred years old shouldn't have surprised Izzy, but it did. It was definitely quite the coincidence that these two had met.

"You've probably met my daughter Zelda and if you've met her you've definitely seen Lydia too because they're always together. They're great friends and she would die for my daughter in a moments notice." Isabel said. She smiled as she thought of how to show off her abilities. She snapped her fingers and a blur of wind surrounded her and dried her clothes completely. "I can teach you things like that! I'll start you off with the easy stuff to ease you in to it."

Yes, Izzy most definitely remembered Lydia. She was the one who had frisked her on the mountain. She briefly remembered meeting the princess, though her memory at this moment did not serve her as she would have liked. Without warning, Isabel surrounded herself with a gust of wind, which intimidated Ysabel. She really didn't like magic and she didn't know why. To the greatest extent of her memory, there had been nothing that would have made her scared of it. "Alright. I think I could handle it. I mean, maybe." Confidence wasn't one of Izzy's strong suits, especially when she knew virtually nothing about what she was actually capable of.

"Do you actually know any spells?" Isabel asked sliding her over coat back on. "I focus mainly on healing but I can deal damage if I have to." She explained as she looked up and down Ysabel. She was beautiful and reminded Isabel of herself in many ways. "But until I teach you I'm curious to know what your standards for a man are." she asked politely "I know many men and I can try and help you find the right one. If that's ok with you."

"Well, I only know the basic cure spell. That's really the only one I ever felt I should learn." One time her father got himself hurt, and after that she had dedicated a few weeks to learning that spell so if it ever happened again she would be able to help. Helping was better than hurting, lest someone truly deserve a beating.
Standards for men? Well, there were a few too many to list. "Handsome. Kind. Caring, a true romantic at heart. Mildly sensitive, but not too much so. Passionate, and able to embrace the fact that I'm infatuated with plants. Outdoorsy. A dancer. Charisma and confidence to make up for the lack of my own. Somewhat intelligent, doesn't have to be a genius. Strong. Faithful, loyal, and above all, a good friend who can carry on a decent conversation." That about summed it up. Though she would ideally like a man who possessed all of these things, she didn't mind one who didn't completely live up to her standards. She could dream all she wanted, but reality would always bring her back down.

Isabel chuckled and tilted her head to her right "Ah that's adorable." She said clasping Ysabel's hands in her own. "Sounds a lot like my husband. He's a brilliant man. He takes care of me no matter what I need. He knows what I love and he treats me like a goddess." She said smiling slightly "Eh sorry for talking about him so much. I well- he just means the world to me is all." She blushed slightly form the embarrassment she brought upon herself from talking about her kin so much.

"That's quite alright. You sound a lot like my mother. She does that a lot." All of this was making Izzy a little nostalgic. She wanted to go back to clock town someday to see the festival again, it was such a majestic sight, sitting there on her father's shoulders and ooing, ahing at all of the colorful explosions. The little dog that ran around the town was probably deceased now, but he was always someone Izzy loved to play with when they went into town. Everything was just fantastic when she was younger, and home was something she missed a little too much for her own comfort. "I would love to meet your family. They sound lovely. I never had any siblings or anyone to play with, except for my one rotten cousin."

Isabel smiled "We have a gathering coming up for Christmas. You're welcome to come." She said with a smile "I live in the big ranch house on the plains." She explained. Her house was big and quite grand and she loved it.

"There aren't any of those dastardly keese around, are there?" Nasty little winged creatures were the worst to kill. By far the worst though were tektites, crazy jumping arachnids they were. It would be best if she saw none of those. Gods only knew what would happen if she set eye upon one. Speak of the devil, what was that skidding across the water? Ysabel turned her body toward it, trying to figure out what it was. It was distant, so she couldn't see it very easily. "Say, can you see what that is out there on the lake?"

"Keese?" Isabel said shaking her head "No we really don't get many around here actually. Why do you ask?" she said walking back up to the edge of the water. "Yeah I can see it. I have no idea what it is but I can definitely see it." Isabel said placing her hand over her eyes blocking the glare from the sun "What do you think it is?"

"I don't like them. One got in my hair once. I nearly died." Literally... and figuratively speaking. "I'm not sure, but I really hope that it's not one of those cursed colorful spiders." Nasty creatures, tektites. Ysabel had a sword, but when it came to eight legged anythings she would rather just steer clear and avoid them if at all possible. Whatever it was, it was staying in the distance, for now. Ysabel let out an inward sigh of relief.

Isabel sighed and shook her head "It's nothing I can't handle dear." she said placing a hand on her friends back to comfort her as best she could. "I don't care for spiders myself but it's nothing a little fire can't handle." she sighed and slowly turned around "So where do you wanna go now?" She asked politely.

"If we weren't near a lake I might have to object to that," Ysabel said plaintively, "as there could be a risk of mass destruction." Her face and tone kept the mood light and airy. Ysabel wasn't sure as to where she would like to go, but wherever it was it should be beneficial. Her mind was drawing a blank, but there had to be somewhere nearby that was fun and intriguing.
"Do you know of any natural… anomalies in the area?" Something odd, unique, fantastic, or exciting sounded the best. Traditional would do, of course, if nothing else would serve.

Isabel chuckled "True but I can control myself!" she said with a smile. She knew her power and how to restrain herself but didn't want to scare the woman out of her wits. "Well there are some ruins near by." She said looking to the east "Over there actually. The place is quite interesting! I would recommend going there if you haven't been there. It's quite amazing."
