STORY

[Gannondorf]

Background:
The story is set Before OoT and the role-play is only semi cannon and does not follow Links adventure in defeating Gannondorf but rather the heroes defeating a corrupt government and bringing peace to the land once again. ((However characters from the games will appear and are playable. )) Because of this the role play will follow the story below And not the actual events of OoT.

Hyrule was prospering. The new king and queen were very well liked and brought the countries prosperity to a level never seen before. Then one day, they vanished with no further trace of them. There was no body found and no witnesses to their fate. The government responded quickly and put two Hylian nobles on the throne with limited powers as the senate and other nobles searched for a real ruler. However the couple In charge is secretly buying their way onto the throne and ensuring their victory in the senates election through fear, bribes, and gruesome torture. Their scope of power increases exponentially. Every day more and more people fall to their tyranny and the king and queen threaten the stability of Hyrule more and more. As the years continued they solidified their rule and brought the countries to its knees. Yet they carefully did so that no one would notice their evil ways Only a few nobles are able to recognize this and even fewer stand against it. A small group numbering no more than a few dozen plan to assassinate the leaders and their supporters, or at the very least, bring them to justice. Their effort, while noble, have been in vain. The elite group of assassins, warriors, mages, and politicians that have banded together to defeat the corrupt throne and all who support them are known by many names. vindíctam By the Sheikah, and Die engel for most others and for the average citizen, Hope.

MEANWHILE

A male Gerudo child is born by the name of Gannondorf. As is tradition he quickly takes control of his kind and rules them with an iron fist. He got into the Hyrule nobility at an early age and just as before he crushed all who even dream of opposing his authority. Through many corrupt practices including murders bribes and torture he increased his power to that of the kings. Now he rules the kingdom with the king and queen only serving as his playthings. Under his rule he crushed most equality laws, cut civil rights to almost zero, increased the police state and raised taxes to an ungodly level only to pocket it all. He has quickly become a target by the Vindíctam and several people have tried to kill him with dozens of methods. However they all failed horribly and the assassins lived only to have their entire family killed in front of the would be assassins. Because of this he has been taken of the 'to kill' list not only for the safety of the individual trying to kill him but the Vindíctam as a whole.
