Allecher sat in shock, taking the entirety of the story in. "I... I am truly sorry... No one should have to go through that. She must have been blind, considering what she gave up." He gave a small smile, trying his best to lighten the mood. On impulse, he set his tea down and walked over to Lucien and gave him a hug. Immediately he felt a sort of shock course through his entire body. It was a very strange feeling and he jumped and pulled back. "I-I.... I'm sorry..." Putting two and two together, he figured that it must be the tea he had bought going to work.

Lucien shrugged the man's words off. She wasn't blind at all, she saw the darkness within him. She wasn't a fool.
There was something about the hug, it compelled Lucien to do something he knew he would regret. He took a step toward Allecher, cautiously, placed an arm around his waist and placed an oh-so-gentle kiss on his pale lips. He almost immediately pulled away, slapped his hands to his side, and shook his head. "I'm sorry. I should leave." This was bullcrap. There had to be something in that tea, he was acting so unlike himself. He wanted to leave, but wanted to stay. This was not why he was here. He could not develop feelings for this man.

Allecher blinked in shock at the man's actions. Well, he hadn't seen that one coming, that was for sure. He wondered what had compelled Lucien to do such a thing, but he just blamed it on the tea. It would only make sense. The tea had definitely effected the way the kiss had made him feel. Not that it was a bad thing.
"Leave? Why on earth would you leave? I-I rather enjoy your company. " Sure the kiss had made the situation extremely awkward, but it was better than sitting home alone! He bit his lip and looked down to the floor, sadly. "I... I'm sorry if I made you angry with me. You can leave if you really want to, I just... Get lonely around here and it's nice to have someone to talk to..."

It would be nine thousand times easier to just leave Allecher and allow him to blame himself for the situation at hand. Lucien wanted to approach it from an offhanded manner but couldn't seem to conduct himself in the way he would have liked. He wasn't sure where to go from here, but it seemed pretty clear to him that he didn't want to leave and Allecher didn't want him to leave.
His interest in this man was growing and he still hadn't figured out what he had wanted to figure out from coming here in the first place. It was truly hard to decide whether or not he should stay or go, but he decided it might be in his best interest to stay. "You did not anger me, I anger myself. I am an ignorant creature." He was lying through his teeth. Lucien was a very cunning creature and carefully planed out everything he did which was why he tried to be calm and devoid of emotion, emotion that this man brought out so well. It had been so long since he had intelligent company…
"I apologize for my actions. See, I'm not around people much anymore. I tend to avoid interactions with others to protect myself from their hurtful ways. I meant you no harm, emotionally or physically, I just got a little carried away. You're the first to give me such attention since I was a wee chit."

Allecher almost sighed in relief. At least Lucien was not mad at him as he had first thought. He gave Lucien a smile and nodded. "Don't worry about it, I know how you feel. I understand completely." He blushed slightly since it had finally sunk in that he was having some effect on Lucien. He folded his hands, awkwardly as a silence spread across the room. He bit his lip, feeling like he should break the silence, but he wasn't sure how.

Lucien took a seat on the couch, lounging. It was a comfortable piece of furniture. If he wasn't so wary of the other half of Allecher he may have just allowed himself to fall asleep. He couldn't believe what he had just done. There was no way he was developing even an inkling of a feeling towerd another person.
He loved himself and only himself. He was fine alone. He worked alone. He was a lone wolf. He did not cooperate with others. He was not going to fall in love with anyone, especially not this dangerous man.
Was he dangerous, though? Lucien himself wasn't sure. "So…" He didn't know what to say.

Allecher looked around self consciously. He began to twiddle with his hair, as he always did when he felt out of him element. Usually he was good at charming other men, he didn't understand why this man was so set apart from the others. He felt as if his tongue was all twisted and he couldn't find any of the right words to say. "We'll, do you happen to be hungry? I could bring out some cookies that I made this morning. They are rather delicious."

Lucien had his suspicions. Maybe he had put some kind of illegal substance in the cookies as he had the tea. Crafty bastard. Without letting Allecher know that he was on to him, Lucien smiled politely. "Yes, cookies would be lovely, though I'm allergic to nuts so hopefully they don't have any in them." Was he allergic to nuts? No. He wanted to seem more relatable. He hadn't messed up, he'd just overstepped his bounds. Massively.
