Zelda pouted and hugged Dorien. "Don't beat yourself up! You're awesome!" She said resting her head on his chest. "Well maybe do you want to go on a walk?" I mean you must want to do something else because we're dating now but that's just a suggestion." she chuckled at how silly she sounded and looked up at her lover "I sound silly don't I?"

Dorien chuckled. "No, you don't sound stupid. It's a nice suggestion. I-I mean, yes, I would love to go for a walk with you. It is a beautiful day out so why not enjoy it, right?" He stood up and took her hands to help her up. "Where would you like to walk to?" He asked kissing her cheek.

"Well the forest of course!" Zelda said smiling "I know an amazing path through it and you'll love it! Just go get some clothes on and tell me when you're ready." She instructed her boy friend.

Dorien nodded and went into his new bedroom, rummaging through his things and bringing out a dark blue tunic. Not really fancy, but it will do... Besides, it's only a little walk. Dorien hurried to get dressed and he pet his kitten before he left the room. "Alright, I'm ready."

Zelda ushered Dorien out and locked the door behind them. she grabbed his hand and entered the forest. It was only a few minutes before all sounds of society grew silent. She watched the leaves rustle and fall from the trees in wonder "Wow it's so pretty!" She said in childish glee "Look Dorien!" She whispered pointing down the path "A deer!"

Dorien was glad to be out of the people surrounded setting. He felt himself be able to relax for the first time in a long while. He looked to where Zelda was pointing and smiled. "It's quite young too." He whispered back. He watched the deer as it looked up at them and twitched its tail before continuing on its way like it didn't have a care in the world. In a way, Dorien envied the deer. It must be nice to have no worries.

Zelda chuckled and looked at Dorein "I love nature. A lot actually. When i was younger I would always go hiking when I felt down. No one could bother me and no one could hurt me. It was just me and Nature." she sighed happily and continued walking down the path. "Sorry if my stories bore you."

He shook his head. "No, they don't. I love listening to them. I can understand about your love for nature. When I was little my sister and I would always play together by the river." He smiled at the happy memory, not noticing as a single tear strayed down his cheek.

Zelda watched the tear and leaned her head on him "Do you want to talk about her? She seems nice!" She paused knowing that it could become extremely awkward. "Or well... I can tell you another story! About what ever you want!"

Dorien shook his head slowly. "I think it's about time for you to know about me. I've meet your parents and I know a lot about you, but I've kept you in the dark. It's not fair to you." He looked over at her and gave a small smile. "Would you like to hear about my family?"

Zelda smiled "Yeah! I would love to know about you and you're family!" she looked at up at him respectfully "Can you tell me about your mother? Don't Zora's come from eggs? I mean I read it some where but I never found out. I mean well..." She paused and chuckled "I am just curious is all."

Dorien laughed at her innocence. "Well, then let me answer your questions. It is true that we come from eggs. It seems strange, I know, but it is what it is I suppose." He made his way over to a nice shaded spot and sat down, beckoning her to come join him. "This may take a while." He explained. "I'll tell you and if you have any questions, you can go ahead and just ask. I won't be offended."

Zelda paused and sat down next to him "So theoretically if we were to have kids one day would that even work out?" she asked looking at him "I mean our genomes might not be compatible to produce offspring." she rattled off in her usual intelligent way. "I mean I'm just trying to figure that out. But please continue." She said smiling at Dorien hoping she didn't confuse him.

"Well, I never really thought about it before. I suppose we would have to try to know for sure." He smiled and took a deep breath. "Well, my mother and father we're very nice people. Of what I remember, anyway. They died while my sister and I were young. Her name was Fai. She was a year younger than me and absolutely loved nature. I was left to take care of her after our parents died and that's why I'm so withdrawn, I suppose. Anyway, it wasn't long after that I had met Jax. He was one of my closest friends." Dorien smiled at the memory.
"I had went into the market to go buy some fish and we ran right into each other. He helped me carry my bags back home and I invited him to stay over. We hit it off, and became best friends. He and my sister seemed to get along too. I ended up falling in love with him and I assumed he felt the same. We kissed and held hands, but we never officially went on a date or anything of the sort." He took a moment before continuing, already feeling the tears pushing at the backs of his eyes.
"I was sixteen when I was finally going to tell Jax that I loved him and wanted us to be official. I came home from the market and when I walked in the door I heard yelling. I was curios and I didn't want to be caught so I eavesdropped for a while. I heard my sister and Jax. It wasn't overly strange for Jax to be there since he practically lived with us by that time. But I had never heard him this angry before. It scared me.
"They were arguing about... Well, I found out in that moment that Jax had been in love with my sister the whole time... But my sister already had someone she liked, and it wasn't him. I remember I was crying at that point. I truly had loved him, but he didn't love me at all... Hearing my sister scream and a thud had snapped me out of my thoughts. I ran in to where they were at... But it was too late. Fai was on the ground in a pool of blood and Jax... Jax was standing above her, a kitchen knife gripped in his hand. I... I was in shock. I tried asking him why, but he just stared at me then simply walked out of my life. My legs were too heavy to even try to follow after him. My first love had left and my sister... My sweet innocent sister... She was gone before I could even reach her."
Dorien finally let the sobs overtake him as he buried his face in his hands. It had been three years now, but the pain was still as vivid as the fateful day it had occurred. Even though so much time had passed, he knew that time couldn't heal this wound.

The color drained from Zeldas face in shock. The story disgusted her. How could such an innocent soul be taken by a lovers quarrel. "Oh... goddesses. I-I-" She began to cry with Dorien. She could practically feel the pain radiating off of his body and felt it multiply in herself ten fold. "I-I'm so sorry!" she felt fear in her veins as the harshness of what happened hit her. She could be the next target and never know it. "Is is he still alive! I swear to the gods if he is I'll get Lydia to hunt him down and kill him in the most brutal way possible! I-I swear on it!"
