Rensu sighed, "Good." she said in rather trusting manner before Lansun spoke for Echo,
"Agent Echo and I were asked by the UNSC to assist in your mission. We returned for both the money and correct me if I am wrong, but the mission is on Reach. Correct?" she said in a kind manner before continuing, "Agent Echo wishes to gain Reach back, that is Echo's home Planet to be exact."

Connor chuckled and looked at echo. "I'm surprised you have a home planet. I thought you simply came out of the fourth dimension or something." He made sure his weapons were loaded and turned the safety's off before talking again. "Now as for me I come from earth and I love it. Of course I have no family or friends to speak of besides my AI so there's no reason for me to return any time soon if at all." he sighed and looked at a grunt next to him. "Can I help you?" He asked coldly.
"Uh no sir."
"Good."

Echo rose, they were landing soon, "I suggest you get behind Echo. I'm going to overcharge the shields as we come ou, they'll target the spartans first, I suggest the other AI's do the same." Lansu said as the others just blankly nodded at the least before a silent "Hoah" came from the void it seemed. Soon the ship landed and the door opened to see Echo run out into enemy fire and start opening the can of whoop ass again.

Connor stepped off the Pelican and sighed as the bright light hit his visor. The other spartan charged into battle without thinking of the consequences. "Idiot with a death sentence." He spat under his breath. "AI what do you see out there?" He asked emotionlessly. "Actually are there any hunters?"

Rensu was feverishly scanning, "I see within your 25 meter range, at least a few hundred troops. Echo's going for them, I suggest we give Lansu and Echo support. What say you?" she asked as Echo looked like they were taking more to CQC than using guns, then again, on Echo's back was a sniper rifle, but they were using a Shotgun and CQC.

Connor sighed. "I'm not suicidal like that free lancer." He said scolding his AI. He shouldered his battle rifled and emptied the clip into a squad of grunts. He quickly reloaded and smiled under his visor. "Got him." he said happily.

Rensu laughed a little, "I'm not saying be suicidal. But to keep support. Lansun and Echo can't take the elites on all alone. Thus we need to support." she responded as Echo stood next to Connor, taking out the rifle on their back and looking,
"Thirteen Hunters ahead." said Lansun, seeing through Echo's visor, "I suggest getting the heavy weaponry to deal with the threat."

Connor paused for a second as his brain worked at hyper speed. "Rensu this is going to suck but bear with me." He said pulling out a plasma grenade. If the myths he heard were correct he would survive. He charged at the hunter while avoiding its fire. He jumped up and wrapped his hand around one of the eels that make up its body, primed the grenade, and shoved it as deep as he could before running off. "that should do it!"

Rensu was rather surprised, "Do not do that again!" she yelped before seeing Echo cover Connor's flank with a close range shot with a Rocket Launcher,
"Keep your flanks covered Rensu! Echo and I can't do everything!" Lansun yelled over the sound of combat, "Echo, Shields are at 600%, it may hit critical mass. do you want me to discharge them?" Upon hearing this Rensu looked at Lansun,
"You mean a Shield discharge?!"
"Exactly."
"Are you mad Lansun?! That'd leave you vulnerable-... Connor, when they discharge the shields, I need you to cover Echo with a preferable bubble shield. That'll allow Lansun to recharge the shields! Got that?" she asked to Connor in rather hopes it could work.

"Gee that'd be fine if I had one!" Connor yelled as he slid behind a concrete block. He opened fire with his battle rifle and glared at Echo. "I wasn't given any god damn shields Echo you're own your own!" He yelled popping back up to toss a frag grenade into a group of grunts.

Rensu sighed, "At the least be ready to get Echo damn it! Leroy Jenkins it if you have to!" she snapped as the shields of Echo's armour discharged. This caused a rather large explosion-like burst to appear from the Epicenter that was Echo. Whom withdrew to cover seeing the extra forces of the covenant. Rensu laughed slightly, "Nevermind. Echo can handle themselves..." she remarked seeing Echo behind cover as the shields re-charged. Soon though a third joined them,
"Corpsmen Aiko Shinai at your service Colonel!" she yelled through the fire red hair blocking her face, it was known by the voice that she was feminine, and soon she looked over the two that she was close to, "Any injuries?" she asked in a concerned tone.

"Eh?" Connor asked looking at her. "No Medic I'm fine go check on others." He ordered reloading his rifle. "AI Are there any enemies within a 250 yard radius?" He asked his computer chip sternly.

Aiko nodded, noticing a injured soldier taking cover about twenty meters from Connor, she sprinted, firing at the grunts that were close to him. She made sure the area was safe before looking back and yelling, "I need cover over here!" she yelled to Connor and Echo. Those two could hold off the army for her if they had the ammo, though as she began her work, Rensu spoke,
"I do not know! I only have 25 meters with your armour! Support the Medic, she is asking for cover from you two!" she yelped to him before Lansun spoke again,
"Yes Connor, you're forgetting, there is a wall of covenant standing in front of us!" Lansun spoke before Echo moved to Connor's position at his three, "Echo and I are ready to move when you are"

"I meant snipers!" connor yelled at Lansun "Echo go cover the medic! Now!" He ordered slowly moving up to deal with the enemy. "Lansun Any suggestions on how to not die!" He asked his AI while firing.

Echo remained at the position they were at, "Declined. My apologies Colonel, but Agent Echo and I have the weaponry that is keeping the enemy off you" Lansun said said before Echo moved to the Medic, "We're not the best at protecting others." she continued before Rensu spoke in a rather intimidated tone,
"Uh... Connor... The enemy is converging on the left flank. The Medic, and freelancer are directly in the projected path!" she said before the now anxious Lansun spoke,
"What?! That'd pin us back to the Landing zone!" she said, "Colonel! We need to do something. All my strategies, keep reading massive casualties on our end."
"Lansun! Of all times! Now you're useless!"
"Rensu! I can't design a strategy that won't end in mass death! I'd like to see you do better!"
"Then don't design a strategy!"
"What are you-"
"Wild-cat it! Use what advantages we have and just wild-cat!" Rensu said as the readings came out, "We'd lose 45% to their 53%, Any words Connor?"
